Kiriko glassware developed from the Japanese traditional Kiriko glass-cutting technique from the Edo period. The glass we found has the Hokusai’s Great Wave off Kanagawa pattern on it, created by a number of carefully layered cuts. It also comes with a beautiful wooden box, which makes it a perfect gift.
Tajima Mt. Fuji Sakura Glass
In the end, another example of unique Japanese glassware. This one is a sake cup. It features sandblasted design to mimic the snow-capped peak of mount Fuji on the bottom, which creates a visually beautiful effect when the liquid is inside. And it has a Sakura pattern on the glass as well.
